Tweed Delight

Tweed Delight is a woolen tweed yarn with a classic composition, primarily made from a lovely South American wool, and the pretty tweed flecks from viscose. The yarn is 1 ply and lightly twined with a rustic structure, which creates a beautiful and unexpected look with a slight variation in thickness.

Tweed Delight is a single-ply yarn, which means it’s not spun from several strands. The rustic structure is reminiscent of handspun yarn with natural variation in strand thickness. With a single ply yarn, you get a nice softness and incredible colors. It also means that the yarn may feel loose and not as strong as other yarns. However, that feeling disappears completely once it’s worked up, and it will be just as resistant to wear and tear as other plied yarns.
