Sultan Shadow is a stunning cotton cake with a unique shadow effect where bright colors gradually meet darker colors, adding an enchanting depth to each stitch.

Sultan Shadow is made of 100% pure, soft cotton with a unique structure consisting of 4 unwound strands. The yarn is designed to have stunning, long color changes with a smooth transition from one shade to another. The changes happen gradually, one strand at a time, creating a gorgeous gradient. Where the colors change, you will find a small knot in one of the four strands: a natural part of the yarn. Many work right over them, but you can also trim them and weave in the end for an even more seamless finish.

Sultan Shadow’s color palette focuses on dark contrasts. Each cake has a darker shade in the middle that gradually fades, changing into a deep black in the outer edges. This creates a stunning gradient that gives your finished project an intense contrast. Perfect for statement pieces!

Pro tip: Before using the Sultan Shadow skein, run the 4 threads through a bead so the threads are gathered throughout the work.
